Sharpham Ticklemore

Price range: £12.00 through £70.00

Sharpham Ticklemore Goat’s Cheese is handmade in Devon using pasteurised goat’s milk, giving it its clean, bright flavour and gently lemony character. Its distinctive crenellated shape comes from being moulded in a traditional plastic colander, creating a striking centrepiece whether sold as a whole cheese or as a mini truckle. This semi-hard cheese has a lightly bloomy white rind, a crumbly yet creamy texture, and herbaceous notes that make it an ideal addition to any cheeseboard — even for those who don’t usually enjoy goat’s cheese.

Awarded 3 Stars at the Great Taste 2026 Awards, Ticklemore impressed judges with its craftsmanship and clarity of flavour. As they described it:

‘This dramatic-looking cheese has a wonderfully quirky crenellated appearance due to its moulding history. The rind is soft and lightly bloomed, with a softened breakdown beneath leading to a bright, lightly crumbly centre. We enjoyed the clean, fresh goat milk flavour with fine citrus highlights and not a hint of farmyard in sight.’
